Interested in policy, politics, and people? Looking for a fast-paced internship at a growing public affairs firm with clients ranging from local non-profits to massive international corporations?

We are currently seeking interns in our Chattanooga and Nashville offices for the spring semester. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong writer with an interest in public affairs. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • policy research and news monitoring for a wide range of clients

  • draft written and creative materials

  • build and update contact databases

  • assist with social media management and analysis

  • miscellaneous administrative duties

To be eligible for the Bridge Public Affairs internship program, applicants must submit a typed personal statement and resume and:

  • be at least 18 years of age

  • be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at any accredited 2- or 4-year university or college

  • be interested in public affairs, government, policy, politics, communications, economic development, and/or entrepreneurship

  • be hard working

  • be detail-oriented

  • exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • have a strong desire to learn along with professional drive
