Interested in policy, politics, and people? Looking for a fast-paced internship at a growing public affairs firm with clients ranging from local non-profits to massive international corporations?
We are currently seeking interns in our Chattanooga and Nashville offices for the spring semester. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong writer with an interest in public affairs. Duties include but are not limited to:
policy research and news monitoring for a wide range of clients
draft written and creative materials
build and update contact databases
assist with social media management and analysis
miscellaneous administrative duties
To be eligible for the Bridge Public Affairs internship program, applicants must submit a typed personal statement and resume and:
be at least 18 years of age
be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at any accredited 2- or 4-year university or college
be interested in public affairs, government, policy, politics, communications, economic development, and/or entrepreneurship
be hard working
be detail-oriented
exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
have a strong desire to learn along with professional drive
