Disability Day on the Hill provides an opportunity for the disability community to convene in Nashville to discuss the role public policy can play in bettering the lives of those with disabilities with legislators and administration officials on Capitol Hill. This year, the hallways were full of advocates, many of which were in Permobil chairs.
Our client Permobil manufacturers complex power and manual wheelchairs and seating systems in Tennessee for people with disabilities. Their products lead the market in quality, performance, safety and function and provide their users with the best possible compensation for their disabilities. On Disability Day, Permobil joined the session in Nashville to participate in events and share the story behind its Foundation.
As the philanthropic arm of Permobil, the Permobil Foundation believes that regardless of disability, everyone deserves a chance to reach their dreams without limitations and that no person should be excluded from opportunity due to a disability. The Foundation offers valuable support and financial assistance to organizations and agencies that improve the quality of life for all individuals with mobility limitations.
Disability Day provided an excellent opportunity for Permobil to tell its story and continue to build its brand with decision makers in Nashville.
At Bridge, we encourage our clients to make legislative engagement a priority – and we actively work to identify and execute engagement strategies that will benefit our clients not just now but over the long haul.
