Bridge Public Affairs today announced an expansion of its operations with the opening of an office in Johnson City, Tennessee. The firm, which was recognized by Bloomberg Government as a 2019 top-performing lobbying firm and the 5th most successful new firm in the country, launched in January of 2019 and is headquartered in Chattanooga with offices in Washington, D.C. and Nashville.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be expanding the footprint of Bridge Public Affairs with the opening of our Johnson City office,” said Todd Womack, President and Chief Executive Officer. “The economic growth in the Tri-Cities has already created a number of opportunities for our team to serve this vibrant region, and we look forward to enhancing the reach of our firm as we impact clients in the Appalachian Highlands now and in the coming years.”
Bridge’s new Johnson City office will be led by John Goetz, who is a senior vice president at Bridge and spends a majority of his time focused on the firm’s growing health care practice.
“My family and I are thrilled to be relocating to Johnson City, which is where my wife was born and raised and retains strong roots,” said John Goetz, Senior Vice President. “This is a special place with tremendous opportunity, and I am excited to help expand Bridge’s operations to this region.”
In addition to his work in the Tri-Cities, Goetz will continue to serve clients at both the federal level in D.C. and the state level in Nashville.
Goetz's wife, Whitney, was recently named Executive Director of the East Tennessee State University National Alumni Association. They reside in Johnson City with their two sons.
