Former State Department Official Tim Gehring Joins One of Country’s Top-Performing Lobbying Firms
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Bridge Public Affairs today announced that Tim Gehring has joined the firm as a vice president. In this role, Gehring will leverage his extensive experience and relationships in the foreign policy, human rights in corporate supply chains, non-profit, and advocacy spaces to further build out the firm’s international affairs practice. Bridge currently serves a number of large multi-national corporations.

Gehring joins Bridge from the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the U.S. Department of State, where he served as a senior congressional affairs advisor in both the Trump and Biden administrations. Previously, Gehring worked for eight years in a number of capacities at International Justice Mission (IJM), ultimately serving as the organization’s director of global policy and partnerships.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Gehring earned a master's degree in international affairs and economics at the University of Kentucky after completing his undergraduate career at Asbury University. He and his wife, Brianna, and their two children recently relocated from D.C. to Nashville.
